ALDAS HLA ADR Test

The ALDAS HLA ADR test is a molecular in vitro diagnostic test for the identification of specific HLA alleles. It detects 23 HLA risk alleles that have been implicated in predisposing to adverse drug reactions (ADRs) [1]. The HLA ADR test can be used to better inform prescribing decisions on an individual patient basis.

An economic model that supports the cost effectiveness of testing for HLA alleles associated to ADRs has also been published [2].

HLA-ADR test uses the automation of the ALDAS processor and the expertise of the MCD MATCH software to provide a simple, fast and cost-effective single test for HLA-mediated adverse drug reactions.
